Titas scored music for a short film Conversationing (directed by Nick Calori, produced by Aaron Lee-Singer). It is a romantic story about two young people, Jack and Jill, who are strangers, but want to break ice and start a simple conversation.
Jack is sitting on a bench, when Jill comes and sits beside him. She want to try something: she wants to have a conversation. There must be something they can have a good conversation about.
Eventually Jack agree to give it a go but they can't find something to connect on. But it doesn't matter. Jack is inspired and he's going to try and start a conversation with others.
It doesn't go well. He tries a man on a bench but no. He tries a girl at a tube station but definitely no. He tries a woman on a bus, but she doesn't even reply.

London Film School (LFS) has been established more than 50 years ago. Its philosophy is to give film students the skills which they will need most in their professional lives. LFS national and global recognition speaks for itself as the school became a shelter for the students from more than 80 countries. Being a private school it has a strong sense of what industry professionals really need to know to do a good job in film making business.
Titas attended two workshops about filmmaking and working with actors in June and July. Paul Cronin gave a 3-day workshop about Alexander Mackendrick teaching and analysis of filmmaking. Sean McCann gave a 5-day practical workshop on how to work with actors. TitasMusic.com inquired why a film composer needs workshops in film making, especially in improvising with actors?

Seven sport women who live in seven different Lithuanian cities share their attitude towards the 'seven deadly sins' (Sloth, Pride, Wrath, Gluttony, Lust, Envy, and Greed). In the context of the current socio-economic crisis, this documentary was inspired by Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht's The Seven Deadly Sins (1933), ballet chanté, a ballet with singing. The piece (in the German it is called “Die Sieben Todsünden”) portrays two sisters (the representation of duality in personality) who travel to seven different cities during Great Depression to search for their happiness.

The jury was searching for film scores where the relationship between the images and the music and sound is innovative and dramaturgically clear. This was fulfilled by the short Noirville (dir. Andy Marsh) with the music by Titas Petrikis from Lithuania. Noirville was nominated along with 9 other films out of 140 participants and was announced to be the winner. This changes her life.
A new feature film "Giedre" by Donatas Vaisnoras will be premiered at the Pasaka Cinema Theatre in Vilnius on December 1st, 2009. The film is about two people, Giedre and Darius, who are divorcing despite being in love with each other. Both of them do not know why they are doing this, but their separation turns into some sort of a cruel declaration of love.
Despite the heroes go on with their lives, their connection remains uncut. They keep on sharing the intimate details of their lives. Such quaint openness helps to return the lost closeness, at least for a moment. The turmoil of feelings and thoughts is growing with every day. Eventually they realize they cannot live without each other… However, the previous closeness isn’t possible anymore either.
