“Screen Music” Workshop with Laurence Kaye

The workshop took place on 30 September and was designed for directors, producers and post-production specialists in audiovisual industry and all of those concerned with copyright issues in film music. To give a context to the workshop, Titas presented a report "Exciting music in films? Some practical considerations".
Laurence Kaye has years of experience working in music publishing companies. He worked as a music copyright expert for film, television and media at “Universal Music Publishing” (UK) where he was responsible for music licensing and use in cinema, advertising, multimedia and other platforms. Among many other films, he was managing copyright issues for “Inspector Morse”, “Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels”, “Notting Hill”, “Bridget Jone’s Diary” and “Trainspotting”.
