Titas' works are presented in Cracow (Poland)

Titas newest projects Dawn of Desert and The Man Who Planted Trees (for the latter he is just the music composer) will be presented in Cracow (Poland) on the Town hall Tower, the Main Square, late evening of 29 April 2006. During the three evenings (27-29 April, 2006) video art projects done by various authors from different European countries will be shown at the major Cracow cinema Kijow(Kraków, Al. Krasinskiego 34). Titas Petrikis projects Dawn of Desert and The Man Who Planted Trees will be presented during these events too.

Project Dawn of Desert was inspired by breath-taking photos of Volker Scherl, who currently lives in Egypt. Another piece The Man Who Planted Trees was a collaboration with Digital Effects and Animation students at Bournemouth Screen Academy.

Multimedia presentations in Cracow is a part of the International project Europe train(Europazug). From 24 April till 1 May, 2006 Europe train will visit seven countries (Germany, Tcheck Republic, Austria, Slovenia, Hungary, Slovakia, Poland). The train will arrive in Berlin on the 1 May, where a big conference will be held to reduce people fairs for the EU enlargement towards the Central and Eastern Europe.

The purpose of the Europe train project is to encourage Europeans discussions about Europe. The project is financed by the European Commission and MitOst (Robert Bosch Fund).
